Since being introduced to yoga in my final year of high school
5, 10, 15, 16 years ago (has it seriously been that long?!) yoga has played an important role in my life. There have been periods where I’ve fallen off the proverbial bandwagon and paid the price, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
But now that I’m in my 30’s, it’s safe to say that my yoga practice isn’t going anywhere.
I absolutely love attending group yoga sessions at my local studio but sometimes that’s just not possible (I’m talking to you, hand foot and mouth disease that just hit my one-year-old.) But even if you’re not tending to a toddler with HFM (and hence, no yoga childcare) there are a number of reasons why a group yoga session may not be a viable choice, like cost, proximity, travel, etc.

These free online yoga videos for beginners can also be a good way to dip your toe into the water and get a feel for yoga before you attend a studio class (however, I highly recommend you also go to an in person yoga class, too. There’s a reason why people rave about them.)
