I wanted to share something close to my heart today. I know that there a lot of of moms out there who are looking for real online jobs for stay-at-home moms.
I was the same after I had my son. I knew I didn’t want to go straight back to work, but I also wanted to find a way to financially contribute to our family. I also knew that with the advent of social media, that it was definitely possible to make money online as a stay-at-home mom.
I started searching online to find ideas for stay-at-home moms to make money. While I found lots of great online jobs, I had decided pretty early on that I wanted to work for myself. I wanted my own business.
I wanted the freedom that working for yourself offers, and I also didn’t want to pay for childcare. (And if you’re working for an employer from home, you’ll still have to hire a nanny or pay for childcare.)
Today, I wanted to share with you some ideas for stay-at-home moms to make money. These are real online jobs for stay-at-home moms that you can start with very little money.

2. Start a Blog
If you love writing, then starting a blog is another excellent way to make money from home.
There are some things that you need to know when it comes to starting a blog:
- You need to love writing, because you’re going to be doing a LOT of it
- Making money blogging can take a long time – I’m talking many months or even years.
- If you need to make money fast, then blogging is unlikely to do that for you
However, don’t let that deter you if you think that blogging might be something you would enjoy.
3. Start an In-Home Daycare
If you love children and have some extra space in your home, then starting an in-home daycare can be a great way for you to make money from home. I know a number of people who look after children in their home and make some fairly decent money doing so.
Laws and regulations surrounding in-home daycares vary based on where you live, so it’s important to make sure you check up on the laws for your area. In some states, it’s recommended that you become licensed if you’re providing care for more than two children that you are not related to, for more than four 4 hours a day.
However, like I said, laws and regulations vary so be sure to check what you can and cannot do in your state.
