After growing up in a houseful of girls (my poor Dad was the only male!) it’s quite funny that my sisters and I have all had boys, except for my one little niece. The latest addition to our family is a sweet little 4 week old, so baby boy stocking stuffers are on my mind heading into the Christmas season!
It’s no secret that I’m a huge Christmas fangirl (is that a thing?) and the holiday season is made even more special now that I have my own son and so many little nephews and a cute niece!
I’ve been doing some research on the best stocking stuffers for baby boys, and I’ve come up with a list of items that I think any baby (and mama) would love!
I’ve included some practical items, some fun toys and some funny things, too. I hope you enjoy! (and spoil that adorable bundle of squish in your life!)
The Top Baby Boy Stocking Stuffers
I think novelty pacifiers are the funniest things and I’m annoyed that I completely forgot to buy one for my son when he was a baby! However, it’s important to note that a LOT of novelty pacifiers are made from some pretty shoddy materials. That’s why I like this one – it’s completely BPA free, ideal for ages 0-48 months and has thousands of positive reviews online. You can order one here.
Another baby boy stocking stuffer for the funny category – how hilarious is this baby dumbbell rattle?! This would be perfect for any baby with fitness buff parents! Click here to order.
This realistic looking light up koi would make the perfect stocking stuffer, and make bath-time infinitely more fun! It’s made of soft, non-phthalate PVC and lights up when it touches the water. Check it out here.
4. Oreo Teether
I adorable teether is made from BPA-free silicone, comes with a pacifier clip holder (because we all know that it will end up on the floor otherwise!) and can be put in the freezer to help soothe sore gums. Oh, and did I mention it looks like an Oreo?! You can order one here.
My husband and I both come from sports-mad families, so it’s no surprise that my son received this cute “My First Sports Bag” when he was a tiny baby. He’s now 2 1/2 years old and he still loves throwing them around! Perfect for any sport loving family!
This Sassy developmental ball is a bestseller on Amazon. It features bright colors and patterns, multiple textures, sounds and materials which will help to strengthen neural connections in baby, and develop motor skills. Check it out here.
Reading aloud to infants is one of the best ways to help foster early language development. The more words a baby is exposed to on a regular basis, the faster they’re going to start developing language skills. These cloth books feature bright colors and a variety of different topics, and are the perfect way to introduce baby to first words and start to foster a love of reading. They’re also great value as they come in a pack of 6 (you could even split them up if you have multiple stockings to stuff!) Check them out here.
This Baby Einstein Musical Toy has been on the bestselling list for years. I got one for my son when he was a baby and it was a great way to keep him entertained during diaper changes and car rides. The Baby Einstein Musical Toy plays 7 different melodies from classical composers, including Mozart, Chopin, Vivaldi and Rossini and features an easy grip handle and flashing lights that move to the rhythm of the music. See it here on Amazon.
A set of plastic car keys has become a classic baby toy, however, it doesn’t take long for baby to learn the difference between their plastic set and mommy’s real set! That’s why these Fun Keys are so great! They’re incredibly realistic, with the key itself being made from stainless steel (but don’t worry – no sharp edges of course!) The keys also feature a push-button flashlight and four fun car sounds. Check them out here.
These bandana drool bibs are the perfect way to keep baby’s clothes dry while looking trendy and stylish! The gift set features 4 adorable designs, with each bib having a handy adjustable snap button closure, and a bonus of 2 pacifier clips (lifesavers!) and a pacifier case. You can order a set here.
