These are some of the products, courses, and companies that I personally use and recommend.
I love Ibotta – it’s one of my favorite apps! Basically, you can get cash back for your groceries – things that you’d be purchasing anyway. Ibotta even gives cashback on fruit and vegetables. If you buy groceries and you’re not using Ibotta, you’re basically throwing money away. Sign up here and you’ll get a bonus $10 after you redeem your first rebate. Make sure you enter the referral code AACOXPC.
If you’re wanting to get started with trading, Motif Investing is a great, cost-efficient option. With Motif Investing, you can create a portfolio of up to 30 stocks or ETF’s, called a “Motif.” You then pay just $9.95 per Motif trade or only $4.95 per single stock trade. Sign up with Motif Investing here, and get up to $150 when you start trading.
If you’re new to investing or just prefer the idea of not having to personally manage your portfolio, I highly recommend Betterment. Betterment is an automated investing service, also known as a robo-advisor. There are a few other robo-advisors out there, but Betterment is a leader in the game, and one of my personal favorites. The user interface is incredibly easy to use, there is no requirement to make regular deposits (although I personally think it’s a good idea, and so I do), and you don’t need a lot of cash to get started. Betterment also boasts low fees and one of my favorite features – their RetireGuide, which assists you in determining how likely you are to reach your financial goals for retirement.
TopCashBack is my favorite cashback rebates site. Unlike some other rebate sites, TopCashBack passes their entire affiliate commission back to you (meaning you get more money!) Another thing I love about TopCashBack is that they don’t have minimum payout amounts and you can request payment whenever you want. Click here to join TopCashBack.
Ebates have partnered with thousands of online retailers, are easy to use, and offer great cash back rewards. I’ve been a member for a few years now and I love receiving my “Big Fat Check” in the mail every few months. From my experience, TopCashBack gives a higher cashback amount on most retailers, but I think it’s a good idea to have an Ebates account too because there may be retailers that aren’t on TopCashBack that are on Ebates and vice versa. Join Ebates here and get a free $10 gift card.
One of my favorite survey sites and a great way to easily earn some extra cash. Sign up using my link and you’ll get an automatic $5!
I made $150 a month (spending just a few hours!) taking online surveys, and Swagbucks is one of the sites I’m a member of. Besides doing online surveys, you can earn money by doing web searches, answering polls, watching videos and more. Sign up for free to start making some supplemental income.
Studiopress is the absolute best place to find premium WordPress themes and plugins. I use the Genesis Framework on The Million Dollar Mama, which is the industry standard. Studiopress has awesome support forums too, where you can find an answer to virtually any blog/web design related question you might have.
Udemy has thousands of courses on virtually any topic you can think of. From social media management to yoga, from makeup to healthy eating – anything you want to learn about, you’ll find on Udemy. Courses start from just $15, and you can learn at your own pace, from any device. I’ve taken a lot of courses on Udemy!
Twitter Legend is a great course that will teach you how to grow a large, engaged Twitter following and make money tweeting. Saira from Mom Resource teaches the course, and she makes thousands of dollars a month on Twitter, so she really knows her stuff.
I highly recommend this book, written by Ruth Soukup from Living Well, Spending Less. It’s informative, and in-depth – Ruth really knows her stuff. How to Blog for Profit Without Selling Your Soul really is a must-read for any blogger. Grab your copy here.
One of my favorite personal finance books, and one of the first ones I read when I was getting started on my personal finance journey – highly recommended. Click here to purchase a copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
You can save so much money by making your own meals, but let’s be honest – meal planning can take a lot of time. That’s why the $5 meal plan is so awesome – for just $5 a month, you’ll receive a delicious meal plan where every meal costs about $2 per person to make. The $5 meal plan will save you so much time and money.
